Care for yourself to be able to care for others

Ever snapped at your partner after a difficult day at work? Or had an unnecessarily tetchy conversation with your boss because you’re too tired from keeping it all going between work and home?

It’s not uncommon for the stresses of daily life to catch up on us, and spill over into other areas of our lives, often impacting our relationships.

It is important to look after ourselves and maintain a regular selfcare regime to ensure this does not happen too often, thereby impacting our relationships.

Paying attention to our own needs and wellbeing helps keep stress, anxiety, and fatigue at bay. It ensures we are rested, have high energy, are mentally more alert and emotionally more centred. In this state, we can bring empathy and compassion to all our relationships, in every context. So, it is well worth it.

That said, self-care doesn’t have to be time-consuming or expensive. It tends to be more effective when indulged in via frequent short bursts rather than via infrequent and elaborate efforts, like an exotic getaway. For example: an outdoors walk, a nice cup of coffee solving the Sunday paper puzzle, or even some ‘me-time’ exploring a new activity or existing hobby all work very well. Anything that helps us connect with our own inner selves.

One of the most efficacious ways to do so is to meditate, and there is increasingly more research on its positive effects on our mental health, cognition, and even physical health. Often though, despite our best intentions, and meditation being a really rather simple and effective self-care habit, it falls by the wayside due to our busy lives.

If you find yourself in that situation, you might want to try the Meditation on Twin Hearts, which is easy to integrate into one’s life, being only twenty five minutes long. It is a guided practice that helps activate one’s heart, cleanse the energy body and leaves one feeling more relaxed and energised.

And if you enjoy the meditation, there are many other simple and effective techniques that are taught on the Level 1, Basic Pranic Healing course.

If you would like to learn these to be able to practice self-care and improve your relationships at work, home and with your significant other, check out the course schedule.

We also have regular meditations online and across the country on a weekly basis – please check the schedule here for one that fits best with your schedule.

Gift yourself better self care – learn Pranic Healing

Would you like to remove negative energy patterns from your life and create a healthier mindset this autumn?

Have your self-care rituals fizzled out over the summer?

Are you lacking confidence and self-esteem?

Do you struggle to carve out much-yearned for ‘me time’ and are you tending to your own needs last?

If you have answered ‘yes’ to any or all of the above questions, don’t worry, you are far from alone.

Whilst the summer holidays are a wonderful opportunity to kick back and unwind, they also bring with them a lack of routine which often makes it trickier than usual to honour the self-care commitments we have made. However, the great news is Pranic Healing can change all of that, helping mind and body restore their balance. It is a fascinating and fast-growing complementary therapy that is improving the quality of so many lives around the world. If you would like to experience what it has to offer for yourself, read on…

September always feels like the perfect time for a fresh start. In many parts of the world, students of all ages are returning to school, after all. We also have the refreshing month of autumn to look forward to, and all of the colourful and natural beauty this seasonal change brings with it for us to enjoy.

But we don’t need to be an academic student to embrace learning new things as the nights draw in and we reach for woolly scarves and gloves. There are many ways we can embark on an enriching journey of self-care and well-being this autumn, and learning Pranic Healing Level 1 is a wonderful example of that.

Pranic Healing is a non-touch energy modality that can even be applied distantly. It works on the basis that the body is capable of healing itself. It is logical and scientific. It covers every aspect of our lives. As we work our way through the various teachings on offer from Pranic Healing, we can even learn how to cultivate more abundance and better relationships.

But first things first: students at the beginning of their Pranic Healing journey will gain a thorough and practical knowledge of Level 1. This course alone will kit them out with a literal toolbox to tend to their well-being by reducing stress-levels, increasing general health and immunity, improving focus, building positive character traits, balancing the emotions, and cultivating peace.

Level 1 Pranic Healing is the gateway to learning about every facet of one of the most leading edge energy healing therapies in the world. Level 1 in itself is life-changing. Students learn techniques to treat a variety of everyday ailments. Everything is validated and systematic, setting Pranic Healing apart from many other complementary therapies.

So many of us have suffered with our mental health during the pandemic – and continue to do so on a daily basis. There is no greater feeling than having the know-how to reduce feelings of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and many other psychological conditions that have manifested during these ever-changing times. You will be able to apply these priceless techniques on yourself, and you will be able to apply them on family and friends.

Pranic Healing is the skill that really does keep on giving!

Pranic Healing courses are currently running up and down the UK and in Ireland, and you can find the schedule here:

We look forward to meeting you!

The last 18 months have been challenging for a lot of us, for a range of issues triggered by the pandemic. The scale of human suffering, loss and life challenges is unmatched in the post war era. So it is natural to question the point of it all, and that can be a slippery slope.

The good news is that life is returning to normal and hopefully, we are all looking to get back out there, seeing our experience of the pandemic in the right perspective and learning from the experience.

But what is the ‘right perspective?’

Finding this for yourself can be such a revealing journey if you adopt a more spiritual lens to life.

Master Choa Kok Sui, the founder of Modern Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga, encouraged students not to wallow in crises, to spiritually transcend. ‘Meditating lifts the consciousness..’, he said, and it is one of the tools recommended in the system he developed.

Arhatic Yoga, focuses not just on meditation practices to build up one’s energy but also a combination of energetic purification practices, study and service to broaden and deepen one’s understanding of the world at an energetic level.

If we were to talk about it in terms of physical fitness, it is a system that layers a detoxing cleanse with working out to build stamina and strength, underpinned by a deeper understanding of theory behind it all! So, an all-round holistic approach that is easy to adopt, follow and delivers great results in terms of  mental clarity and emotional grounding. In this state of relative stillness, we are able to take decisions guided by a higher force, resulting in a much better quality of life than one might have otherwise.

Even so, life has a way of getting a bit ‘too-much’ sometimes, often driven by circumstances outside our control. That is why we ‘retreat’. Arhatic Yoga Retreats are designed as an opportunity to get away from the humdrum of life to connect with the teachings, the teacher and the community of fellow practitioners. It is an opportunity to immerse and learn, going deeper with our experience. An opportunity to disconnect and recentre.

We are lucky, we have a preparatory course in Arhatic Yoga coming up on Sep 1-2 in Heythorp, Oxfordshire. If you would like to explore this easy to adopt spiritual practice. The course will be followed by an Arhatic Yoga retreat for an immersive practice experience Sep 2 – 5. Please click here to learn more about the retreat and to sign up.

Why a Arhatic Yoga Retreat is The Time Out You Need and Deserve

Would you relish the opportunity to switch off from the outside world for a few days?

Are you ready to take your understanding of Pranic Healing to the next level?

Would you like to learn advanced techniques to instill a greater level of peace, higher intuition and willpower?

What does the term ‘Arhatic’ mean?

If you have taken the Pranic Healing, Advanced Pranic Healing, and Psychotherapy courses, the wonderful news is you can join us at our UK Arhatic Yoga Retreat in the beautiful and serene Heythrop Park Resort in the Oxfordshire countryside from September 1st – 6th 2021 (the Arhatic Yoga Preparatory Course is also a prerequisite).

The etymology of ‘Arhatic’ comes from the word ‘arhat’; a term that describes a highly evolved being. With its origins rooted in China, India and Tibet, this leading-edge, systematic, and priceless form of yoga incorporates practices of all 7 yogas, and was given to Master Choa Kok Sui by Mahaguruji Mei Ling.

The in-depth teachings of the Arhatic Yoga Preparatory Course will ensure that Pranic Healing students are ready for the Arhatic Retreat itself (followed by Arhatic Yoga Level 1,2, 3.1 or 3.2, depending on each individual student’s journey).

Armed with this exceptional toolbox of daily techniques, students will be able to overcome any self-sabotaging patterns that might be holding them back, as well as physical, psychological, relationship and financial issues. This in turn leads to clarity of thought, focus, greater willpower as well as deeper intuition. All of which make for an exceptional life when practised on a regular basis.

The retreat is a truly precious and sacred experience, scheduled only every two years, so there really is no time like the present to sign up for it!

Not only will you benefit from the very unique opportunity to learn directly from – and interact with – the senior disciples of Master Choa Kok Sui (and Master Choa Kok Sui himself via some special videos), you will also have the chance to put the preparatory Arhatic Yoga system teachings into practice, learn further specific techniques to deeply purify, increase your energy and super-charge your goals. And it goes without saying, you will make life-long friends with like-minded souls along the way.

What could be better? The Arhatic Yoga Retreat is the perfect way to take a break from the yo-yoing outside world, to go deeper within, and to revitalise every aspect of your life.

7 Ways Arhatic Yoga Can Change Your Life

If you check in with yourself right now, how are you feeling? We’ve all been through a pandemic, a lot of change, some of us are very likely feeling physically drained and perhaps emotionally too. With much negative news all around us, it can be hard to maintain a positive mental attitude and mindset, which can sometimes send us down a spiral of negative thinking, this in turn can affect our physical health. It’s a cycle that needs to be broken for recovery to begin.

If you are a Pranic Healer and looking for more peace in your life, to “build back better” as our Government says, after the strains and worries of Covid-19, consider Arhatic Yoga.

Arhatic Yoga is an advanced spiritual practice. Coupled with the Twin Hearts meditation, Arhatic Yoga Practitioners perform additional meditations and purification techniques to develop and activate their energy centres.

Master Co says “It’s a series of practices that anyone can do to have more inner peace in your life, to have better relationships, to increase your spiritual connection and to have an overall beneficial effect on your entire life.”

It can help in many practical, spiritual, emotional and physical ways, from achieving your goals in life, to improving physical and emotional wellbeing.

Here are 7 key ways Arhatic Yoga can really change your life for the better…

1) Remove old self-sabotaging patterns

Deep seeds within us often hold us back from our true destiny and create patterns of unhelpful behaviour that are hard to break. Arhatic Yoga practice can help you to move on without fear and break those self-destructive behaviours and thoughts.

2) Heal physical and psychological ailments

Are there physical or psychological challenges in your life, that are holding you back? Often we find that there are blocks to moving forwards towards our goals and these need to be healed to clear the pathway for development.

3) Tackle relationship problems with love

Arhatic yoga practices will help you find inner peace and reconnect with true loving-kindness. This in turn heals negativity in relationships as you become more spiritually connected to both yourself and your loved ones.

4) Drive prosperity and overcome financial issues

Financial challenges are one of the biggest causes of stress in our society. Arhatic Yoga can help you think more clearly, make better decisions and draw prosperity to you through positive, single-pointed thinking and focus.

5) Cultivate a still and calm mind

Is your mind always busy, full of the noise of life? It’s important to master the skill of calming the mind. A calm mind makes space for clearer thinking, keeping the right perspective on things and making better decisions.

6) Develop the willpower to stay focused and committed to your goals

How many times have you tried to reach a goal but got sidetracked along the way with other pressures of life? It happens to us all. Arhatic Yoga will give you the spiritual tools to stay focused on that goal and will equip you with the willpower to keep going, even in the face of challenge. With the spiritual practices of Arhatic Yoga, you will achieve more in your life and quicker.

7) Develop higher intuition

Life is a journey of decisions. We decide with every word we say, or every direction we choose how our life manifests. Arhatic Yoga can help you be clear about your decision-making, developing a higher intuition where you just “know” what the right path is. Your confidence will grow as you practice and you will see overall improvements in your entire life.

Make this Your Best Summer Ever

Are you ready to shake off the heaviness of recent months?

Would you like to feel lighter and brighter in the gentlest and most natural of ways?

Do you find yourself procrastinating because there aren’t enough hours in the day, or any willing participants to join you?

The questions above will have many of us reverently nodding our heads in agreement. But we can implement little changes for the better immediately once we decide to say YES to the call of our hearts, turning our back on the mind and its multitude of get-out clauses.

The summer season is a great time to try out new activities and create healthier habits, with all of those wonderful extra hours of daylight. The simplest, most unassuming of feel-good routines often deliver the greatest results, yet these daily or weekly commitments needn’t ever become a chore, rely on comrades, nor cost the earth. They can, quite literally, be as free and easy as opting to walk to work to bask in the sweet fresh air as opposed to driving. Or making a point of taking a proper lunch break outdoors and heading to the serenity of a park several times a week instead of eating on the go at the desk.

Which isn’t to dissuade the joining of gyms, yoga classes, or team sports!

One of the best ways to ensure that any new way of living takes root is to make scheduling a weekly priority. Look at the days stretching out in front of you realistically and see where you can switch things around to fit in that much-earned (and much yearned for) hour of gardening, walk in the woods, after work swim, or the beginner’s kayaking/SUP session you’ve been promising yourself.

Sometimes showing up for any of these activities may mean sacrificing an episode of our favourite Netflix series. But the outcome will be worth it!

Even those of us who have coasted the proverbial wave of this pandemic and remained in relatively high spirits, need to be mindful that we are getting outside enough and connecting with nature. The vitality the body absorbs from the sun goes beyond mere Vitamin D. Just as we benefit from daily exposure to air, ground, and tree prana, summer is the optimum time to ensure we are receiving a good dose of solar prana.

Prana translates from Hindu as life force; the universal energy flowing in and around the body. Its tiny particles surround us, and, when the body and its chakras are depleted of prana, malfunctions can occur – not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. Indeed, there is much wisdom in some of the old fashioned sayings such as ‘an early morning walk is a blessing for the whole day’ and ‘fill your lungs, clear your mind’…

But the words in this blog are just the tip of the iceberg. If you would like to learn more about what Pranic Healing can do for you, (your family and your friends) the summer is also the perfect time to sign up for a course. Now that restrictions have eased, there are a variety of fascinating Pranic Healing courses underway all over the UK to help you not only mentally and physically, but financially and spiritually too.

We look forward to seeing you and helping you set out on that life-changing journey!

The Inner Peace of Regaining Control of Your Finances

Many people have reflected on their time in lockdown and realised that they have spent a bit too much!

Whether it was boredom, having to shop online or the lack of bargains as retail closed down, some people may now be experiencing the worry of financial pressures as the world opens up again.

Are you feeling anxious about your finances, and perhaps experiencing physical symptoms of worry such as nausea or headaches? Do negative thoughts about money make you feel trapped?

Mid-year is a perfect time to reflect on the past 6 months and as we emerge from the closed world of lockdown, we have a wonderful opportunity to restart anew and place ourselves firmly on the path to being in control of our finances. It’s often feeling out of control that drives fear, and in turn, fear creates feelings of worry and anxiousness. People who are in debt, or who realise their finances need attention, often put off dealing with it, week after week.

Restart your approach to your financial situation

When you find yourself in this situation, it’s helpful to focus on what you can do rather than what limits you. We’ve seen many examples of our students and patients alike, using Pranic Healing to remove fear and help build the courage to lift the lid on their finances and deal head on with the actions that need to be taken.

When you are able to remove fear, reduce feelings of worry and clear your head you can find inner strength to focus on what really matters and take the steps towards regaining control. When you learn Pranic Healing, you are armed with techniques to remove negative thoughts and emotions, paving the way for optimism, positivity and prosperity.

Finding inner peace

Restarting your finances and regaining control will help you feel more grounded, finding strength in the knowledge you are moving in the right direction.

Meditating regularly will also help you maintain clarity of thought and a sense of calm, both much needed qualities for robust financial decision making. In Pranic Healing, you are taught that as you give, you receive. The secret of prosperity lies in giving. Perhaps when your finances become stronger, you will find it in your heart to give more and tithe some of your funds to charitable causes for example. In giving, with a generous heart, we can experience true inner peace and prosperity in the future.

Tools to help you take action

To build the courage needed to take action you need to remove fear and focus on the goal in hand. Pranic Healing Self Development courses, Levels 1-3, will equip you with the tools you need to remove negative thoughts, dispel fear and think more clearly.

Coupled with regular meditation, using the Meditation on Twin Hearts, you will develop a focused mind, clear of negative thinking and a heart full of optimism and firm resolution. These tools will help you stay on track and see things through to a successful outcome.

Healthy New You, Family, and Friends

Are you ready to improve your physical and emotional well-being now we are emerging from lockdown?

How does a fresh, systematic and logical approach to good health sound as we start to pick up where we left off?

Would you like to learn a new life skill to benefit yourself and your family and friends?

When Master Choa Kok Sui brought the teachings of Pranic Healing – a non-touch energy healing modality – to the masses (it’s now in over 126 countries, his vision was to have a Pranic Healer in every household.

When we think about that inspirational goal in the wake of the pandemic, taking into account the pressure the NHS has endured – not just courtesy of Covid-19, but other ailments and diseases not to mention the impact on our mental health – it is a timely target in every sense.

Learning Pranic Healing is a truly life-changing experience when it comes to the health of the body and the mind. It’s empowering and comforting to know there is a toolbox at our disposal to treat and improve life’s physical aches and pains; from the smallest of niggles through to more complex issues.

Having the wherewithal to apply a simple-to-follow, step-by-step treatment to a heavy nosebleed, a tummy bug, or an ankle sprain is a huge positive and incredibly reassuring when you are a parent. Being able to treat a sore throat or a fever is a wonderful, time-saving benefit.

Each of these protocols is taught in the Level 1 Pranic Healing class, so that straightaway, students go home with practical skills that can be put into action.

Level 2 takes students deeper into the application of the teachings with a focus on chronic illness and severe ailments. It’s revolutionary in its approach, and, as with all of the Pranic Healing courses, it’s scientific and validation-based. Nothing is blindly taught so you get the chance to learn and practice with a very open mind.

None of which is to suggest Pranic Healing should ever replace traditional medicine or a professional diagnosis. Rather the two can work together beautifully. Referring back to the NHS overload situation, Pranic Healing gives us a very real opportunity to do something practical to help lessen the burden on the National Health Service – no matter which country we live in.

The strain on our state health systems is definitely a worldwide issue. But once we have learned the various Pranic Healing techniques we can immediately start to implement them to alleviate our family, friends and, of course, ourselves.

Lockdown’s conditions, which came as a shock to most of us, have definitely challenged our states of mind. However, when we are armed with easy-to-follow protocols (they are literally akin to following a recipe in a cookbook) to treat conditions such as anxiety, stress, depression, and grief, we can help ourselves and we can help others back to a happier and more natural disposition. That’s what a Level 3 course can do.

Pranic Psychotherapy is fascinating, and a real insight into the emotional root causes of many chronic physical conditions which might previously have been given a ‘Band-Aid’. When we combine our psychotherapy knowledge with the skills we have learned to alleviate physical conditions, the improvements are quite remarkable and we further understand the importance of purifying ourselves of the thousands of negative thoughts we have a day, ‘keeping the cup empty’.

So there we have it: three fabulous, groundbreaking courses, which, as a package, are transforming so many lives all over the planet.

There’s no better time to get started!

Follow your dreams to a happier, healthier you because for one thing, you deserve it, and for another, you’ll be in a position to help so many others.

Spirituality – Your Key to Success

January marks a time of new beginnings, often marked by setting new goals around health, career and finances in order to achieve happiness and success.  It is commonplace to put our focus on looking ‘outwards’ to reach these goals without truly considering and developing the characteristics required to achieve them.  Have you ever considered that the key to your success and happiness already lies within you and it’s your own self development and understanding of oneself that will allow you to achieve things that you may once have thought impossible? Thus, ensuring that you have a goal this year to nurture your spiritual development, could end up the most important and impactful goal you will ever make.

So what do we mean by spiritual? There are many levels of truth and Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, the founder of Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga describes spirituality as a way of life.  He states ‘It is not just doing meditation.  People on the spiritual path are not anaemic.  They must be sharp, strong and courageous.  Being spiritual means being powerful, dynamic and intelligent.’

These characteristics together will help you to achieve your goals throughout life with much greater ease. The process of developing these characteristics will ultimately allow you to develop a much deeper understanding and connection to yourself and enable you to remove internal obstacles that have the potential to stop you from achieving.

Developing these characteristics in balance is extremely important, for what good would it be to have power without intelligence?  Or intelligence without the motivation and power to put it to good use? The tools and techniques that Master Choa Kok Sui developed are designed to do exactly that.  He describes Pranic Healing as ‘a bridge to spirituality’.  As you study the Pranic Healing courses, you will learn a multitude of techniques that you can put into practise on a daily basis, starting on the Level 1 course and running right through to Arhatic Yoga.

These techniques will help to develop a kind and loving heart, a powerful will and an intelligent mind, all allowing you to gain more inner peace and develop spiritually.  A recipe to take your self-care to a whole new level, allowing you to achieve things that might be beyond your imagination right now.

Spirituality does not mean, as many believe, spending hours and hours meditating each day and in Master Choa Kok Sui’s words, ‘Spiritual practitioners or disciples should have their hands reaching out to Heaven … but their feet should be firmly rooted to the Earth.’  In spite of their spirituality, they must maintain their practicality. They must be able to produce physical results.’
