Reasons why giving is good for your health

Having any type of ailment, physical or emotional, brings a level of uncertainty. What is the cause? Will it get worse? Will it return?

If you could find a way to have inner peace and stability when the remedy is a very simple equation, would you be inspired to reshape the way you run your life?

The ancient equation can be found in time-honoured universal teachings that have been taught for centuries.

As the body gets older there can be a tendency for certain conditions to manifest. One ailment can lead to another and then for some, it becomes part of who you are, a constant worry at the back of your mind.

A physical or mental ailment such as stress, anxiety or fear can limit the way you live your life. Fears can stop you from doing things you wouldn’t have given a second thought to when you were younger.

Ancient Teachings

In nearly every ancient text, you will find the same simple message. When you give, help and share with others, the same shall return to you. It is not necessary to have faith because these are natural universal laws. The law of cause and effect.

Examples across many books are;

“What you sow is what you reap or what you give is what you receive (The Bible – Galatians 6:7)

‘Just as a farmer plants a certain kind of seed, and gets a certain crop, so it is with good and bad seeds’ Koran (Qur’an)

The message in all these ancient texts is the same. Remember these are from thousands of years ago, from different parts of the world in times where there was no awareness of other countries.

Feeling warm and fuzzy

Don’t you feel that too? When you do a good deed for someone or gift money to charity, open a door to assist someone, or buy a homeless person on the street a coffee, you instantly feel warm and fuzzy inside. Especially when they look at you in the eyes, smile, and say “Thank you.”

How do you think you’d feel if someone was upset or in a lot of pain and you were able to help them by relieving their suffering? How wonderful would it be for both of you? Imagine that feeling.

With Pranic Healing, you have an opportunity to help others as well as yourself. And you can easily learn it. Even if your chosen career is not in the healing field, it doesn’t matter, not everyone has to be a healer professionally, but, everyone can benefit from healing. This is a life skill. In the classes, you not only learn how to help people with physical ailments you also learn about these natural laws and how by working with them your life can be improved.

Good Intentions

We all have good intentions but sometimes what is missing is that little rocket fuel that actually pushes you and activates your will to do good.

To recap, the simple equation to a happier healthier life is….

Doing good deeds, helping others

+ giving and sharing

= A happier, healthier, more prosperous life.

Is it that simple?

Super Charge your spiritual growth

Would you like to make a difference in the lives of others in your community?

How can a single person truly serve the world and have a positive, life-changing impact on others?

Doesn’t being spiritual mean hours of meditation, cut off from civilization? Isn’t it impractical in the modern world, something that works only for a select few?

Whilst the answers to the first two questions are hopefully ‘yes’… and an emphatic ‘yes, they really can!’ it might surprise you to learn that spirituality is actually for everyone. It’s a continuous, non-negotiable way of life because whether we are consciously aware of its existence or not, we are all treading the spiritual path – just at many different stages depending on our very individual soul development. Something which is as unique as a fingerprint.

With the recent lockdown and the pandemic putting a temporary pause on our normal ways of life, it’s only natural that many of us will have spent time reflecting on the various aspects of our lives; that many of us are feeling organically drawn to the aspect of goodwill, charity, and helping others. Perhaps more so than we ever have been before.

All of this goes hand in hand with the Golden Age we are entering, as humanity as we move further away from the Dark Ages and into Aquarius.

And right now, as we are moving through the powerful full moons of April, May (which incorporates the important Wesak period), and June, there are many ways we can focus on boosting our spiritual growth. Indeed this is one of the best moments of the year to dedicate ourselves to doing so through world service since the effects are tremendously powerful.

These acts can be big and small (a large donation to a homeless charity or baking a cake for an elderly neighbour). They come in all shapes and sizes (volunteering for a food bank or running a free class to share your knowledge of a skill). The possibilities are endless, the sky’s the limit -making giving feel like fun in the process.

The emphasis is very much on evoking community spirit and reaching out to others outside of our homes and circles of families and friends, not to overlook being there for our nearest and dearest, of course. But these acts of regional, national and international goodwill all have one thing in common: they are heart-centred with no expectation of return.

However, those on the spiritual path, many great religions and new age thinkers know that in giving we receive… in fact, this is an important universal law that is necessary for our spiritual balance as individuals, as vital as the air we breathe. It’s no coincidence then that we are getting these impulses to be charitable and to practice loving kindness in as many ways as we can. They benefit the recipients as much as they benefit us. In turn, those who receive love and kindness are vibrationally raised and inspired by its blessing. And so the cycle begins.

One small gesture of help, one random act of kindness truly can travel across the globe, lifting humanity. Our loving thoughts when coupled with action are that powerful.

Resist Stagnation – Time to Recalibrate

Do you feel like you are stuck in a negative feedback loop, in one or more areas of your life? Are you experiencing a roller coaster of emotions? Do you feel out of balance?  If so, then read on to see how you can recalibrate and get back on track.

In unsettling times the one thing you can be sure of is being able to control your own mind and emotions. But how is that done? By simply taking time out, to take stock of where you are, recalibrate and then take action.

Having a series of go-to tools and techniques, of which there is an array of within the Pranic Healing system, for self-development, healing yourself and others is invaluable when life becomes a little challenging.

Pranic Healing is science-based and can be learned by anyone to treat yourself, family or loved ones. It is used for a wide range of ailments, physical and psychological and is performed through the application of non-touch energy techniques.

Pranic Healing offers a wide range of courses from healing, to spiritual development, to prosperity courses teaching the science and art of materialisation. There are even courses to help with business management and staff productivity.

In every course, there are techniques to help clear your mind of any barriers, therefore, developing a sharp mind and enhancing productivity and dynamism.

“Your mind makes your life hard, clear your mind, life becomes easier” Les Flitcroft

Spring brings new beginnings. Colourful blossoms and daffodils raise the spirits, indicating that warmer weather and sunnier skies are on the way.

Time to make a fresh start.

Just as a plant seeks light to grow, rooting down to withstand storms, human beings also need to seek the ‘light’ to connect with the inner self, understanding the self better and taking advantage of opportunities to grow.

Spring is an ideal time to ‘revamp’ your life.

Top tips to Recalibrate your life

R – Retreat

Take stock, refresh your point of reference. What are your goals?

E – Evolve

The only way we evolve and grow is through experience. It’s ok to make a ‘mistake’

C – Carefully Assess

Take the time to look closely as to what you did and what you could have done to achieve a better result

A – Adjust

In order to evolve, you must be flexible to change

L – Life Audit

It can be hard to look at your life but do you notice any patterns? Is there any underlying emotion or fear that is repeating throughout your life?

I – Iron out

Time to take responsibility. If something needs dealing with that you have been avoiding. Time to smooth it out!

B – Be mindful.

Be aware of your thoughts, repetitive thoughts tend to manifest

R – Reorder

Have you been set to a rigid routine? If it’s not working. Time to move things around

A – Alert

Stay alert and be aware. If you react, ask yourself. Why did my emotions react that way?

T – Tidy up

A tidy home is a happy home! Declutter your space. Keeping your space clear helps to keep the mind clear

E – Eternal Editing

Life is continually evolving. What works for you now, might not the next year. It’s a continual process. It can also be a great way to see how far you have come and what you have achieved. Schedule monthly, yearly assessments.

3 Ways You Can Benefit from the Pandemic

It may be just another morning, but unlike a year ago, I can feel the warmth of the sunlight radiating through the window. I can hear the distant sound of birds chirping. I can sense the beauty and the stillness of the outside world that I once never noticed.

There’s no doubt that this has been a long and trying year for many of us. But with certainty, there is always a calm after every storm. And as we approach normality once more, it’s necessary to re-adjust ourselves to a new and better way of thinking, feeling and being.

In a sense, much has been taken away from our lives – our ability to see and interact with our friends and loved ones, our freedom to go where we want, when we want. And for some, the certainty of our health and our jobs. But what if this is a hidden opportunity for us to change and improve?

Here are 3 things you can learn and benefit from this pandemic:

Slow Down

We live in a world where we have too much choice and are overloaded with too much information. And with technology, there are many things available to us – all at the touch of a button. But because time is still limited, you may tend to scatter your attention and do too many of the things that are detrimental to your health and wellbeing.

If you didn’t choose to slow down over the past year, then you may find that you were forced to. But however it happened, it’s been a time for you to stop doing too many things at once, and to focus on what really matters.

Reflect on What’s Important

Once the falling pieces have had time to settle, it’s important to reflect on your own life and decide what’s important for you moving forward. If you weren’t completely happy with your life before all of this started, then this is the chance to decide how you want things to change. Maybe there were people in your life that drained you and you need to move on. Or similarly, maybe you’ve realised that you want to make more time for the people you truly care about.

Appreciate What You Have

When you don’t have very much, you will appreciate what you have even more. A homeless person will savour each and every meal as they don’t know when they will have their next. A child with only a handful of toys will make use of and love each and every one. And a person with a few good friends will make time and appreciate the people they have in their life.

So, the next time you’re able to choose from the many options you might have had before, perhaps you’ll appreciate the simple things more and think twice about what you thought you needed to make you happy. Because it’s not the things or even circumstances that create happiness, it’s how we perceive the things we already have in our lives.

Recalibrate Your Health as You Navigate the ‘New’ World

Are you feeling anxious and unsettled about the easing up of restrictions?

Would you like to embrace life from a fresh, new stress-free perspective?

Is there an easy answer to effortlessly dialling back into the outside world?

How can the long-lasting effects of our individual experiences of the Coronavirus pandemic ever truly be overcome?

A year after the pandemic first hit the western world and many of us are inevitably still struggling with our mental health. In some cases, this has taken such a toll on our minds that it has, in turn, even gone on to affect us physically. Three such examples being the documented rise of ailments such as migraine, sleep apnea and irritable bowel syndrome over the pandemic’s course.

Just because we can now begin to reclaim parts of our old lives and routines; the children returning to school, counting down the days until household get-togethers, the shops/pubs/cafes/restaurants soon re-opening, the promise of overseas holidays, it doesn’t mean we are immune to a wobble. The changing of the guidelines is more than welcome, but as we move out of lockdown, we are not quite the same people we were at the start of it… and neither is anybody else!

The past twelve months have been unprecedented. In our modern-day societies, we have never collectively experienced such an acute loss of freedom and uncertainty before. As such, it is only natural that the health effects of the pandemic can linger if we let them.

The great news is: we do have a choice there!

When we make recalibration our priority, we can go with the flow as we step outside again and re-appreciate the many gifts we had perhaps taken for granted, enjoying the beauty of it all.

Here’s where Pranic Healing is absolutely priceless. The techniques and protocols taught on a Pranic Healing course enable us to keep ourselves above the chaos and drama of everyday life so that we are more than just treading water; they allow us to face life’s changes and obstacles calmly, with a clear mind and a heart full of joy and gratitude for every single moment and experience, knowing that it is all for our soul’s expansion.

Courses cover so many topics on all aspects of life, but when it comes to healing the after-effects of the pandemic, the skills taught on the Level 1,2 and 3 courses are invaluable, dealing with physical and psychological health conditions. And you will learn some super effective ways of recalibrating your relationships too… which is incredibly handy now that larger real-life gatherings are on the cards. We all have that visceral need to feel the energy of others around us – via Skype or a Zoom call it is just not the same – but naturally, after so much time apart from our family, friends and work colleagues, it’s going to take a bit of fine-tuning to navigate our way through social situations. Thankfully, with Pranic Healing, such concerns are a thing of the past, and the tools learnt can easily and quickly be applied to pave the way for smooth interactions.

One of the most effective ways we can ensure we are giving ourselves a soothing self-care routine regularly is via the wonderful Twin Hearts meditation. The Institute of Pranic Healing UK and Ireland hosts regular online Twin Hearts meditations. This unique pathway to inner peace is like taking a spiritual shower, and PH students do it every single day to remove the thousands of negative thoughts (which all of us experience daily), replacing them with an innate sense of well-being and serenity.

Could there be a better gift to yourself than following your curiosity and signing yourself up for a course today?

3 Ways To Prepare Your Mind & Body For The New Beginnings of Spring

Everywhere we look, there are wonderful signs of Spring. It’s a welcome sight after the winter months and helps us focus on hope after the past challenging year.

Take a moment to pause and think about how you feel right now, at this moment. Do you find yourself feeling tired a lot of the time? You might even be feeling a bit lacklustre or finding it hard to get motivated? After the dark winter months, it’s time to prepare your body and mind for the new beginnings of Spring and embrace the light, warmth, optimism and bursts of nature this time of year brings.

Here are our 3 ways to do just that:

1) Boost your immune system

As we come out of winter, give your body the physical boost it needs to recover and rejuvenate, ready for Spring.

Regular exercise and healthy eating are great ways to support a healthy immune system. Perhaps you have developed some habits over lockdown you wish to turn around? Now is the time.

As Pranic Healers, we treat the physical body to help boost the immune system by removing old negative energy and replacing it with fresh, new energy or prana.  By cleansing your energy, your body can renew, regenerate and reach optimum health. Once you have a robust immune system, your body can more easily fight disease.

You learn how to do this from the first level of Pranic Healing training to benefit yourself and your family and friends.

2) Keep a clear mind

Do you ever feel overwhelmed and find it affects your physical body too? Perhaps you have trouble sleeping or trouble with your digestion? Keeping a clear, healthy mind can help you take full advantage of new beginnings, appreciate every life moment fully and see the potential in your life events.

Meditation is a great way to help clear your mind of unwanted negative thoughts and energy. It can help give you a clearer perspective, flush out negative thoughts, promote inner peace and help you make better decisions.

3) Remove the fear that’s holding you back

If you constantly find yourself in a negative spiral of thinking, it’s most often caused by fear of some kind. Fear can hold us back and stop us from welcoming the new beginnings the universe means us to experience. In Pranic Healing, we learn that removing fear can set us free, putting us on a path to inner peace, good health and prosperity. Stress and worry might be prevalent in your life right now for many reasons, but learning to deal effectively with these emotions can help you develop an outlook of optimism and hope.

As we look to the future and welcome Spring, prepare your body and mind to take full advantage of the new beginnings it will bring. Help your body to embrace warmer weather, enjoy good health and fitness. Help your mind to see the joy in every moment and to look ahead with positivity and optimism.

Spring forward in more ways than one

We have just completed a year of living a relatively restricted life thanks to the pandemic. For all its silver linings, it has been a year marked with concerns about maintaining our health and well-being as well as that of our loved ones. As sunnier and warmer days come around, we are reminded of the great Chilean poet Pablo Neruda’s words – ‘you can cut all the flowers, but you can not keep the spring from coming.

Nature indeed has a way of regenerating and blooming even after having gone through harsh winter conditions. Spring season offers abundant reminders of this inbuilt natural ability to restore, rejuvenate and thrive, nudging us forwards to refocus on our own health goals too. The first daffodil blossoms see a lot more morning joggers and lunchtime walkers getting out and about. With the sun shining brighter, people take to more outdoorsy activities, working gardens, going on treks, or even socialising outdoors especially relevant through COVID-19.

Activities such as the above energise and naturally revitalise us, and for a very good reason. Fresh air, the sun and the ground are three main sources of vital energy or life force that keeps the body healthy and alive. This is called ‘Prana’ in Sanskrit. As we look to boost our baseline health, we have access to more than seasonal glories of Spring to fall back on.

Pranic Healing, an energy-based healing modality that is anchored on the concept of Prana and our ability to enhance it in our bodies can be available all year round.

Pranic Healing is a system developed by Master Choa Kok Sui leveraging the naturally available Prana and our physical body’s inherent ability to heal itself. Designed in a structured, easy to apply manner, the system makes energy-based healing accessible to people from all walks of life, irrespective of their background or existing belief system.

It is easily learnt in a weekend workshop, starting with an introduction to the fundamentals of the Pranic healing system. Please look for a Level 1 workshop at a location close to you.

Foundational to this system is the Meditation on Twin Hearts that helps maintain the health of your energy body, leading to more robust physical health, stress reduction and greater inner peace. The meditation is taught in the Level 1 Pranic Healing course but can also be independently learnt and practised. To join a group meditation local to your area or online, look up the schedule on this link.

Using Lock Down as an Opportunity to Grow

Using LockDown as an Opportunity to Grow

Could ‘Lockdown’ be a catalyst for change for you in 2021? Would you like to regain some control in your life? How about a quick and easy remedy to remove stress, fear and worry? What about discovering a scientific and healthy way to boost your immune system?

For the best part of a year, the UK has been in lockdown or had some level of restriction. This jeopardises most basic human needs such as feelings of security, emotional connection and autonomy. You may be missing the physical connection from family and friends and a good hug.

So what has been your coping mechanism? Has it been to throw yourself into exercise, learn a new skill, doing DIY jobs? Or to kick back and binge-watch box sets with a little extra tipple or two?

The term ‘Stay Safe’ in itself creates the thought of the need to be ‘wary’ which is fear-based. Thoughts are energy and scientists have discovered that we create between 20,000 to 80,000 of them a day.

That’s just one person.

How about a whole country, or even globally?

That’s a lot of thoughts being generated and radiating out.

So before you think about it too much, as promised, let’s see what you can do to lift up out of the sea of these thoughts, start regaining control of your mind and emotions and use this time as a fantastic opportunity for self-development, growth and to keep your body & mind healthy.

So what is it?

It’s called Pranic Healing.  This system is a non-touch healing energy technique that includes a vast repertoire of protocols to help every ailment, and a specific meditation. The Meditation on Twin Hearts, which flushes out stress and negative thoughts and emotions from the body giving a sense of inner peace and mental clarity. It helps to sharpen the mind so you can see clearly. In other words, you can see things for what they truly are.

Pranic Healing to help the physical body and systems

Absolutely anyone can attend a Pranic Healing class. No special skills are required, just a desire to learn. During the two day class you learn how to help remove negative energetic patterns which prevent the manifestation of physical or psychological ailments, and step by step techniques for various ailments including respiratory, circulatory, and immune-boosting treatment and more.

By keeping the immune system strong and healthy its response can react better to pathogens, disease and viruses and remove them from the body quicker. Imagine how empowered you would feel if you could help yourself, your child or a loved one who was unwell?

Pranic Healing to help psychological issues

If you have felt stressed, anxious and worried over this past year, then Pranic Healing can help. As with the physical protocols, there are also ones to help remove the thoughts and emotions mentioned above, and so much more.

These thoughts and emotions build up over time and can stop you from doing things, chasing dreams. As thoughts and emotions are energy then they can be removed simply, with energy. The energetic approach to healing is not new but now maybe the time to look outside the box and try a new way of thinking.

Keep your thoughts positive and remove those that aren’t.

Limit your viewing and listening time to the media and social media. Remember, the media is there to entertain. Happy stories don’t sell.

Rise above the sea of fear, take control of your life and register for a Pranic Healing course today.

Flourishing Finances and How to Achieve Them

Would you like to put a spring in your finances as well as your step as we enter a new season?

Do you struggle to save?

Were you raised to believe that ‘charity begins at home’ and ‘money doesn’t grow on trees?

Does it feel like your only opportunity for a prosperous life is via the lottery?

With a change of the seasons comes a change of perspective. Spring is on its way and whilst flowers bloom all around us and new life is born, we can tap into this energy, too, applying the symbolism of fresh beginnings into every area of our own lives.

One such area that many of us would love to see blossom is that of our finances. But how can a simple change in the way we view money possibly achieve that? Well, when we look at science and remember that everything is made up of energy – from the chair we are sitting on to the cells in our bodies, then we realise that money is no different. And from a spiritual perspective, money is nothing more than a tool. An energetic tool.

So the first thing that we need to do is clean up our opinion of money and our current financial situation. It’s extraordinary how many of us have been brought up to regard money as ‘the root of all evil’ – and a whole range of other very limiting beliefs.

This takes us back to the energy thing again: our negative thoughts about money will constantly keep it at arm’s length. Just as finances are made up of energy, so are the very thoughts that circle our head – not to mention the words of complaint that come out of our mouth referring to our lack of prosperity.

Being conscious of our thoughts, words, actions and deeds is a powerful first step in obtaining a healthier financial outlook. Likewise, gratitude also plays its part. When we start to appreciate the many blessings we do have – from the shape of our bank accounts and savings to the things we often take for granted such as the roof over our heads, the food on our table, and the clothes on our backs, we literally shift our negative thoughts to positive thoughts. Not only does this make us feel good, but the genuine heartfelt gratitude is…. energy. Since like attracts like, and gratitude is an act of giving, we know that ‘in giving we receive’. It’s a law that’s as scientific as it is spiritual.

Which leads neatly onto the subject of tithing. One of the best ways we can increase our own sense of peace regarding our current financial situation (whether we are struggling to pay the bills, looking for work, or comfortable but wishing we had a little more financial breathing space) is by helping others. Giving our money and/or our time – and giving with the purity of the heart, with no expectation of return – is a smart way to help the world whilst helping ourselves. Even, and especially when we have little ourselves and it seems counterintuitive to the mind, going against everything the ego would have us believe.

The heart knows better…

The power of random acts of monetary kindness is astonishing. But yet again, it’s as scientific as it is spiritual. We have only to look at some of the world’s greatest philanthropists for evidence of that.

But these simple steps are just the tip of the iceberg. For those who really want to take their finances to the next level, Pranic Healing offers a plethora of tools via simple protocols and teachings which can be learnt on beginners and advanced courses, through to specific courses on Kriyashakti and Spiritual Business Management.

How to face pandemic challenges with resilience

The pandemic has certainly brought challenges many of us would never expect to face. Whether it’s the physical illness of COVID-19, the worry and stress that lockdown situations cause or the emotional impact of dealing with the enormous changes we face – we are all feeling the effect, in our own ways. During this pandemic, a lot of what is happening is out of our control, yet we must keep going. We need resilience, and the good news is there are many ways we can find that strength to keep moving forwards, with hope and kindness in our hearts.

Remove fear and replace it with hope

One of the biggest barriers to personal growth is fear. In Pranic Healing, we learn the deep and adverse effects of fear on our emotions and our physical body. If we can remove fear, stress and worry, it opens our heart to hope, optimism and prosperity. We have all heard that stress can physically affect our bodies – how many times have you felt worried and nauseous at the same time? Had a tummy ache that churns when you are anxious? If we can work on reducing, and eventually removing, stress from the mind and body, we will improve not only our mindset and heal our energy body but also enhance our immune system and our physical health.

There are many ways to reduce stress. In Pranic Healing we use specific energy healing protocols which are highly effective at removing negative energy, thoughts and feelings to make way for positive ones. Alongside healing, we also recommend meditation to flush out negative energy and help you to stay grounded and connected.

The Twin Hearts meditation is emotion-based and research has shown clear positive effects on wellness when it is practised.

Spread a little loving-kindness

Did you know if you give kindness in your life, you receive kindness tenfold? During these times of uncertainly, it’s important we pull together, support one another and spread a little kindness. You have probably seen many examples of community spirit over the last year and it’s a wonderful, heart-lifting experience. Spread kindness and give service by tithing – donating funds to those in need and giving what you can of your own money and time to support those who need it. You will often notice that this, in turn, drives prosperity in your own life. The next time you give, keep an eye on what follows – you may be surprised!

Pranic Healing can help build resilience

Once you learn Pranic Healing, you can take your life to the next level. Pranic Healing can help treat physical ailments, emotional challenges and psychological barriers to create a peaceful mind and a happy, healthy body. It is also a way of life, encouraging people to spread kindness, help each other and foster togetherness, all over the world. Even during the Twin Hearts meditation, we bless every person and invoke divine blessings on all.
