Four Easy Steps to keep your New Year’s Resolutions

Have you made any New Year’s Resolutions for 2020?
Have you ever made resolutions previously, only to break them a few weeks later?

With around 80% of people failing to keep their resolutions each year, it’s time to make a change so you’re well on your way to achieving your goals this time.

Here are some simple but very effective steps that will help you keep maintain your resolve and achieve your goals:

  1. Set your goals – When it comes to thinking about New Year Resolutions, it can be all too tempting to write a list as long as your arm.  Having too many goals will result in your focus and energy being scattered. Your chance of success will be greatly increased when you focus on achieving one or two goals.  Don’t be afraid to be ambitious and dream big – just ensure you’re able to pour your energy into one key goal. Work out what it is you wish for and go for it!
  1.   What’s your motivation? – Are you truly motivated to achieve your goals?  Whatever it is you want to achieve, whether it’s doing more exercise or starting a new business, are you clear about the reasons why?  Understanding why will help ensure that it is something you really want and therefore increase your will power, passion and motivation to achieve it.
  1.   Make a plan – However big or small your New Year Resolutions are, by having a step by step plan of how you will achieve them, will increase your chances of success.  It’s about breaking the bigger goals down into smaller actions that help you work towards your endpoint.  Ensure that you create a schedule of activities that are time-bound, giving yourself deadlines and accountability.
  1.   Believe in yourself – Your thoughts are extremely powerful and will play a big role in whether you maintain your New Year Resolutions or not. It is important to build a positive mindset about your goals and healthy self-esteem. This may involve letting go of limiting self-beliefs and destructive thought patterns which have built up over many years.  To do this, gaining an understanding of your energetic system and learning techniques to remove negative energetic patterns can be immensely valuable when making changes to your life.

The Pranic Healing system provides powerful self-development tools to change weaknesses into strengths, allowing you to achieve things you may have previously thought impossible.

Above all else, congratulate yourself on taking the first step towards positive change. Be kind to yourself in the process, seek the support of those you trust and don’t be afraid to fail.  Starting new habits or giving up old ones doesn’t just have to take place at the beginning of the year. If you don’t manage it at first, just keep trying.
