Harnessing the blessings of Wesak

The period of Wesak is a very special annual occasion for Pranic Healers, and for every sentient beings on the planet, whether we are aware of its existence or not. It is at this time of the year that the full moon is at its most powerful; a time of opportunity to deeply purify, healing ourselves of negative thoughts and energies so that we can help others to maximum effect, and create incredible levels of harmony and regeneration for Mother Earth through sacred service. The down pouring of divine energy at this time of year is immense.

As we give, so we shall receive, as the saying goes, and Wesak is also a good time of year to give to charity.

Meditation on Twin Hearts, when practised during the Wesak full moon, brings about tremendous amounts of good karma, especially when carried out in a large group. This in turn, gifts us with abundance, happiness and joy in all areas of our life in the days, weeks and months ahead, In fact, the amount of energy generated during just one Wesak meditation is the equivalent to a month of continuous meditation! This then, is an opportunity not to be missed.

An ancient tradition that was created by Lord Buddha, Wesak’s significance is an integral part of Grand Master Choa Kok Sui’s priceless teachings, and he distilled its essence so we could better understand and integrate it into our lives. The Four Noble Truths and the the Eightfold Path are an important part of these teachings. They help us to always remember our divine nature so that we can release attachment to the physical world and stay aligned with our true spiritual self; a self that knows only oneness and compassion and is committed to being and instrument of service.

Wesak is for all, regardless of our religion or background. Although from the Buddhist tradition, its teaching transcends all faiths and was always intended for the good of all, to alleviate suffering and to raise the vibration of the Earth and every being on it – from humans to the smallest of living organisms. Wesak is also the day that we mark Lord Buddha’s birthday, enlightenment and passing. A unique date on the calendar, indeed!
